Transforming Safety Online Feedback Form Information

Inside Out Youth Services, and many other nonprofits in our region, receive funding from the Community Crime Prevention Initiative to empower local community organizations to reduce the impacts of crime on marginalized communities.

IOYS’s focus on prevention and early intervention reflects the goals of this initiative to support young people in providing basic needs, build prosocial skills, enhance family support networks, utilize trauma-informed systems, and support leadership training for young leaders in our community. Now, we need your support.

As this grant funding enters a sunset period (meaning it will be up for review to decide if it should continue), we are looking for young people, parents/caregivers, and community members to voice their support to continue this funding not just for IOYS, but for many other organizations across our region. You can help by submitting testimony about the positive impact our organization has had on you, your loved ones, and/or your community.

The Office of Policy Research and Regulatory Reform has an online comment form for this sunset review that can be found on this COPRRR webpage. Click on the tile named “Justice Reinvestment Crime Prevention Initiative” and it will take you to this comment form.

If you would like support reviewing your comments or testimony, please reach out to our Advocacy Director at ollie@insideoutys.org.
