Inside Out Youth Services hosts multiple open houses each year for young people, families, and community members to tour our space, talk with staff members, and learn more about our services and resources at IOYS. We typically host one open house in the spring and one in the fall.
IOYS staff and volunteers are present at all events to uphold brave space agreements (which can be found below). IOYS armed security will be present at the event for enhanced safety and to conduct bag checks.
Each year, IOYS hosts a Halloween Party for young people and their families and chosen families. This is a safe, inclusive, and sober space for LGBTQIA2+ young folx to come together and create unforgettable memories as they celebrate Halloween with tons of fun and activities for all!
Costumes are highly encouraged but must adhere to the following guidelines: no faux weapons of any kind, no full-face coverings, and no political costumes.
Enrolled program ages are between 13 and 24 years old. Individuals over 18 years of age must present valid photo ID for admittance. RSVPs are strongly encouraged, as capacity is limited.

Every November Inside Out hosts a community potluck for IOYS young folx and their families and chosen families.
This is a safe, inclusive, and sober space for LGBTQIA2+ young people and their families and chosen families to come together and celebrate community.

Each year, IOYS sets up a Winter Holigay Market so that young folx who are enrolled with IOYS can earn fake money by completing different tasks so they can purchase items from the Winter Holigay Market. Young people who are enrolled at IOYS can bring friends who are not enrolled to participate, as long as they are between the ages of 13 and 24.
